The Nerd Hovel

Congrats, you're in too deep! For real though, I'm passionate about ensuring people have access to the knowledge to perform and iterate on the work that I do, and I provide the files and instructions on how to use them for each of my respective designs and mods.I was empowered by resources freely provided by people like Crane, Hadoe, and many others, and I'm committed to paying it forward to empower the next wave of builders and innovators.I won't share EVERYTHING I do as is, because some of it is a little too fussy and I don't want to inflict that on some ambitious rube. That said, I'll always commit to some sort of open source version for most of my work, and I'm always sharing detailed progress pics in my Discord server.Scroll through the sections below to find out more about the projects I've put into the world, or click on the button up here to just hop into my GitHub profile and muck around yourself :)

Bao Buttons

"Off the shelf" Sanwas are inconsistent, don't last as long as keyboard switches, and can be expensive. Other SUPER cheap options exist, but are completely unusable off the shelf. But, with a custom designed PCB and a few little hand files, you can take super affordable buttons from Baolian and turn them into something that would make even the staunchest Sanwa die-hard green with envy.
(Github is under construction, please forgive incomplete instructions. Ask questions on Discord)

Self Serve Case Files

24mm Arcade Buttons have a place in allowing people to make controllers more accessibly with simpler materials like Wood, MDF and Acrylic, especially where they don't have access to metal laser cutting. So, here are an always evolving set of DXF files that can be used a la carte to laser cut a case that works for your specific needs, with a few remixes in there as options for different types of connections.

Chocwa Buttons

GitHub not yet written, expect a guide to come!
(The button just takes you to the my main GitHub page for now)
